82% of the UK’s fire market are driving Emergency One fire engines. Fire engines have been designed and manufactured in-house at Emergency One’s premises in East Ayrshire for over 28 years, building a strong heritage of engineers in the area. Emergency One’s Managing Director, Willie Burns, is passionate about working with Ayrshire College to develop young talent. Partnership, he explains, is important for the business. Willie says: “Our partnership with East Ayrshire College works great, both for us and the students. The students get a fantastic grounding in the practical applications and theory resulting in some talented engineers.
