Healthy workers are essential for a healthy business to generate healthy profits! Join us for an introduction to protecting and improving employee health, delivered by NHS Ayrshire & Arran’s Health Improvement Workplace Team?

This session will provide you with information and guidance on your responsibilities in terms of legal health and safety requirements, tools and tips for improving workforce health and signposting to further free and confidential services to support you in creating a healthy workplace. You will receive information from a local Workplace Health Improvement Officer, including guidance on smoking, stress and mental health, managing absence and using the ‘fit note’. You will also be given a toolkit developed by the Scottish Centre for Healthy Working Lives to help you understand some of the key issues that impact on worker health and to provide practical and effective approaches to minimise the risks and costs of ill health to your business which you can use after attending the session.
